This turn of the century home, in the Cathedral area was in dire need of a washroom update. The homeowner being a creative individual, wanted something unique. A rectangular shower with a corner angled door was built. A high end electronic control was installed, featuring a rainfall shower head, 6 body jets and a steam jet as well. The window was moved 2 feet left so the shower walls could be properly enclosed with glass.

I put this shower together for a friend, about a year before we started up with the reno company. We used a marble tile and travertine accents to achieve the look. A diamond inlay in the border added to the classy look. My friend didn't want to have a metal tile edge on the shower curb, so being marble, we ground the tile edges to a bull nose profile and polished them to get a smooth look.

This was a project for a care home. We needed to make it wheelchair friendly and easy to clean.

With a new baby in the house, the home owner was concerned with the poorly done tub surround and the years of leaking being a recipe for black mold. We replaced the tub, shower control and installed a spanky new tile tub surround, as well as a new dual flush toilet. Looks damn good, if you ask me.
